Caroline Turner L.I.S.T.D. CDE. has specialised in teaching tap for 27 years. She loves improvising to develop interesting steps and rhythms. She teaches both American tap and ISTD Syllabus with excellent exam results. Over the years Caroline has taught at many schools including Italia Conti Academy and Susan Earnshaw Theatre School. Her past pupils include Louise Redknapp (Our Patron) and Naomi Campbell to name a few. She also taught international tapper Diane Hampstead. Caroline is interested in promoting youth dance events and is on the committee for Tonbridge Dance Festival. We are pleased that she was one of the first candidates to gain her certificate in dance education with the ISTD and we are proud to have her “on board’

Julia Attree A.I.S.T.D. has been teaching Classical Ballet at Italia Conti Associates, Tunbridge Wells since September 2004. She began dancing at 3 years old and entered full- time training at Bush Davies School in East Grinstead at the age of 11, studying Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Character, and National Dance. She went on to complete her training and take her teaching exams with Patricia Snowdon in 1996. Since then Julia has been teaching for various schools in the South East, specializing in Classical Ballet and has entered many students for exams achieving a 100% pass rate. She has choreographed for and assisted in the productions of many shows for various schools, including Chance to Dance at The Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks and a Children’s Charity Gala at the London Palladium.

Keeley East A.I.S.T.D. trained at the Centre Performing Arts College, where she gained her teaching qualifications. Upon graduating from the Centre Keeley starts her teaching career working for various dance schools, choreographing for shows, Festivals and Pantomimes, up and down the country. In 2008 Keeley was choreographer for a short film ‘Dance Star’ which was shown at all major film festivals including Cannes. At present Keeley also works for Performers College where she teaches ISTD syllabus classes and Jazz.

Fiona Floyde A.I.S.T.D began dancing at the age of three at Tiffany Stage School in Clacton-on-Sea. She won a scholarship to Bird College where she trained for three years. Whilst at Bird’s she gained her National Diploma in Dance and Drama and also her teaching qualifications. Outside of Fiona’s teaching repertoire she has appeared in the opening ceremony of Euro ’96 and has performed at the Sadlers Wells Theatre and London Palladium in star- studded galas. Fiona won the Marjory Davies star tap awards and went on to win ‘Outstanding Dancer’ in 1999. Her contribution to Italia Conti’s exam results are excellent. 

Emma Rogers A.I.S.T.D. began dancing at the Victoria School of Dance, Portsmouth and went on to further training at Bird College where she graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance. Whilst at college Emma was a member of the Bird Theatre Company which toured extensively throughout the UK and around the world performing in such places as Portugal, Vienna, Singapore and New Zealand. Prior to specializing in choreography she has appeared in 42nd street (UK Tour), Magic of The Musicals (UK Tour), The Jungle Book (Worthing Pavilion), Godspell (Robin) Spirit of The Dance (USA Tour), Tiger Lily in Peter Pan (Worthing Pavilion), Celebrity Cruises (Dance Captain) Closer Than Ever and Starting Here Starting Now. Choreography Credits include, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (Madinat Theatre Dubai/ Victoria Theatre Halifax) Copacabana (Athens), Cinderella (Hazlitt Theatre Maidstone, Worthing Pavilion), Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special (BBC), Cinderella (Victoria Theatre Halifax), Grease (Copenhagen), Peter Pan (Worthing Pavilion) Beat Southern Beats and “Let Yourself Go” (Orchard Theatre, Dartford) for the Bird Theatre Company. Emma currently teaches at Performers College and various professional theatre colleges in London and works for the ISTD. She has been the winner of the Gwen Carter choreographic prize and twice the recipient of Hammond Productions choreography award.

Jess Beale made her West End debut in “Annie” playing the part of “July” at the Victoria Palace Theatre at the age of ten. Her television credits include: “EastEnders”, Westlife’s “You Raise Me Up” music video, The Noise Next Door “Dirty Girls” video as well as Work In Progress (W.I.P) “Been Waiting For A Girl Like You” music video. Jessica has also performed on “Top of the Pops” with Jay-Z singing “It’s A Hard Knock Life” as well as performing in front of Prince Charles in The Royal Variety Show. Jessica has appeared in numerous commercials such as Six Nations Rugby, Walkers Crisps, Realm Retail, Sky Bet and most recently a Pepsi commercial.

Dale Branston trained at Laine Theatre Arts. Dale appeared in Andrew Lloyd Webbers’ “The Woman In White”, at the Palace Theatre, playing The Signal Man/Ensemble and understudying/ playing the role of Count Fosco. He has only just returned to us after appearing in Zorro – The Musical at the Garrick Theatre London. We are glad to have him back!

Nicki Martin graduated from the Italia Conti School (London) with honours and gained her LAMDA qualifications in 2001 having studied performing arts for five years. Her theatre credits include Shakespeare’s “As You Like It’. “The Jungle Book”, “Royal Masonic Gala”, “The Millenium Concert” at St Pauls Cathedral. Nicki has also worked on several commercials at home and abroad, which includes Walkers Crisps, Kellogs, Lockets and Venco. Nicki has gained excellent results with the Conti pupils in their LAMDA exams.

Emma Sharnock has been performing since the age of three and has appeared in many musicals and plays both amateur and professional. Theatre credits include Jenny Diver in The Threepenny Opera at the lyric apollo Hammersmith and the city center theatre on Broadway and “Whistle Down The Wind” at the riverside studios. TV credits include Capital City and The Bill. Emma has been teaching for Italia Conti for nearly two years and is head of speech and drama at Kent College Prep. School and teaches speech and drama at Kent College Senior School.
